Start with Windows + Startup Preset Support

NodeEQ can now launch automatically when you sign into Windows — and apply your preferred EQ preset immediately.

What’s new

• Start with Windows toggle — Automatically launches NodeEQ at Windows login
• Startup Preset selection — Choose which preset is loaded and applied on startup
• Use Current Preset shortcut — Instantly set your active preset as the startup default

Preset is loaded and applied automatically — no user interaction required.

Perfect for set-and-forget EQ setups that should always be active after reboot.

🧷 Minimize to System Tray (Optional)

You now have control over how NodeEQ behaves when closing the window.

New option

• Hide to tray on close (optional toggle)

Behavior

• Disabled (default): Clicking ❌ fully exits NodeEQ
• Enabled: Clicking ❌ hides the window and keeps EQ running in the background

Tray features

• Click tray icon to show/hide NodeEQ
• Tray menu with Show / Hide / Quit
• EQ remains active even when the window is hidden

Ideal for users who want NodeEQ always running without cluttering the taskbar.

Overlay Click-Through Mode A new option allows the overlay to stay visible while letting mouse clicks pass through to the game or application behind it. Enable in Settings → “Ignore mouse while in overlay (click-through)” Or toggle it using the C hotkey Useful when placing the overlay in the center of the screen without interfering with controls Experimental Frequency Band Filter (for users updating from older versions) If you haven’t updated in a while, there is also a new experimental feature that filters the display to specific audio frequency ranges. Enable in Settings → Frequency Band Filter Configure Band A and optional Band B The overlay will only display cues when the selected frequencies are dominant in the audio
