Download ready-to-use EQ presets for footsteps, dialogue clarity, and positional detail. They work with NodeEQ, AutoSonic, and Equalizer APO. Newer NodeEQ/AutoSonic builds already include these presets by default.

Quick Notes

Normal presets are the safest starting point. Try BOOSTED only if you want a more obvious change.

If audio sounds harsh or distorted, reduce preamp by about -3 to -6 dB.

How To Apply

Fastest path: use NodeEQ or AutoSonic preset folder import.

NodeEQ (Recommended)

  1. Download preset file.
  2. Open NodeEQ and click Open Presets Folder.
  3. Drag preset `.txt` into that folder.
  4. Click Refresh, select preset, then Apply.
Best option for quick switching and tuning.

AutoSonic (Recommended)

  1. Download preset file.
  2. Open AutoSonic and click Open Presets Folder.
  3. Drag preset `.txt` into that folder.
  4. Click Refresh, select preset, then Apply.
Quick import, one-click apply workflow.

Equalizer APO (Direct)

  1. Download preset file.
  2. Copy it to `C:\Program Files\EqualizerAPO\config`.
  3. Add `Include: YourPresetName.txt` in `config.txt`.
  4. Save and restart audio service (or reboot).

Useful Notes Before You Apply

Latest NodeEQ and AutoSonic builds include these presets preloaded. If your app does not show them yet, update to the latest build first.

BOOSTED files use stronger dB values than the normal version. Start with normal, then test BOOSTED if you need more presence.

These are simple `.txt` EQ filter files intended for quick import and easy swapping between profiles.

Quick Fixes

  • Distortion/clipping: reduce Preamp (typically around -3 to -6 dB).
  • Too sharp/bright: lower the highest-frequency boosts slightly.
  • Too thin: add a small low-end bump (about +1 to +3 dB bass).
  • Too quiet after EQ: expected when using negative preamp; raise playback volume after tuning.
